Clothing Brand Setup

Launch your brand with a UK production partner — premium blanks, in-house printing and embroidery, samples before you commit, and bulk runs that get cheaper as you grow.

You bring the designs. We handle garments, print method, samples, the first stock run and every reorder after it, from our workshop in Great Barr, Birmingham. Need a store to sell from? Our sister agency OK Promo builds it.

How Brand Setup Works

Five steps from designs to stock on the shelf — and step one is only ever done once.

01

Send your designs

Artwork, sketches or references. If the files are not print-ready, our design team prepares them for a small fee.

02

Pick blanks and finish

Choose garments from UK stock and we advise DTG, DTF, screen print or embroidery for each design and fabric.

03

Approve samples

Free digital mock-ups, then physical samples at cost so you check print quality, placement and fit before committing.

04

Bulk run

50, 100 or 300+ units printed in-house in Birmingham, quality-checked through the run, collected or delivered UK-wide.

05

Reorder as you sell

Your artwork stays on file. Top up colours and sizes by email or WhatsApp — no setup charge the second time.

Print and Embroidery for Brand-Quality Garments

Four methods in-house. We match each design to the finish that will look right on the garment and survive the wash.

Soft-hand, full colour

DTG printing

Direct-to-garment ink sits in the fabric rather than on it. Best for detailed, photographic or many-colour artwork on cotton tees and hoodies.

Any fabric, any colour

DTF printing

Direct-to-film transfers give bold, durable graphics on dark garments, polyester blends, joggers and performance fabrics.

Premium brand marks

Embroidery

A stitched logo on a heavyweight hoodie, cap or beanie is the finish that reads as a brand rather than a print. Digitised once, reused on every run.

Volume, limited colours

Screen printing

The most cost-effective route for large runs of a one- or two-colour design. We will tell you when a run is big enough to make it worth it.

OK T-Shirt vs Print-on-Demand

Print-on-demand is a fair way to test an idea. Once designs sell, holding your own stock changes the maths.

Unit cost at volume

Print-on-demand
Per-order pricing with the platform’s margin built in.
OK T-Shirt
Bulk pricing from 10 units, quoted per run — the more you print, the lower the unit price.

Samples

Print-on-demand
Order a sample online and wait for the post.
OK T-Shirt
Handle blanks and stitch samples at the Birmingham shop, or have samples delivered, before the bulk run.

Garment choice

Print-on-demand
A fixed catalogue.
OK T-Shirt
UK-stocked blanks including 330gsm oversized hoodies, premium cotton tees, joggers and caps — and we can source others.

Quality control

Print-on-demand
Printed and shipped by a facility you never see.
OK T-Shirt
Every run checked in-house by the people who printed it.

Turnaround

Print-on-demand
Printed and shipped one order at a time.
OK T-Shirt
Bulk runs typically 3–5 working days from approval, larger runs scheduled to your launch date.

Stock and margin

Print-on-demand
No stock to hold, but a slice of every sale goes to the platform.
OK T-Shirt
You hold the stock and keep the margin, reordering as designs sell.

Production is half the launch

Clothing Brand FAQs

Minimums, methods, samples, labels and timing — answered before you order.

Is there a minimum order to start a clothing brand with OK T-Shirt?
No. Many founders begin with a sample set, then a first run of 50–100 pieces across two or three designs. Bulk pricing starts at 10 units and improves at 25, 50 and 100+, so unit costs fall as the brand grows.
Which print method is best for streetwear?
DTG for detailed, full-colour artwork on cotton; DTF for bold graphics on dark garments, blends and performance fabrics; embroidery for premium logo marks on hoodies and caps; screen printing for large runs of simple designs. Send the artwork and we will recommend per design.
Can I see samples before the bulk run?
Yes. Digital mock-ups are free, physical samples are charged at cost, and the bulk run only starts once you have approved them.
Do you offer neck labels and packaging?
The Brand Launch Production Pack can include neck labels and packaging on request, depending on the garment. Tell us what you have in mind when you enquire and we will confirm what is possible.
How long does a brand run take?
Samples come first. A typical bulk run is produced within 3–5 working days of approval; larger runs take longer — a 300-piece order was completed in 10 working days. Give us your launch date and we will confirm a realistic schedule.
Can you help with the website or online store?
Yes. Our sister agency OK Promo designs and builds websites and online stores for clothing brands, so production and the shop can be handled by one team. Mention it when you enquire and we will bring them in.
Where are you based and do you deliver?
Everything is produced at 126 Beeches Road, Great Barr, Birmingham. Collect free of charge or have the run delivered to any UK postcode.
